Member cannot pay (dues or event)
- Pay link: Ensure they use the link from their invite or dues email, not a generic event or org page. Each assignment has its own pay link.
- Stripe: Your org must have Stripe Connect complete. If Connect is incomplete, all pay links will fail.
- Card: They should try another card or contact their bank. Rowhouse does not control card declines.
- Already paid: If the assignment is already marked paid, the link may show “already paid”. Check Dues or the event’s invite list for status.
Email not received
- Spam: Ask the recipient to check spam and promotions and to add the sender to contacts.
- Address: Confirm the member’s email in Members is correct. Resend the email or pay link after fixing.
- Send: For bulk emails, ensure you clicked Send and chose recipients. Check Campaigns for status (sent vs failed).
- Plan: Emails may require a paid plan. Upgrade if the Emails section is locked.
Event not showing or wrong list
- Org: Confirm you are in the correct organization (club switcher). Events are per org.
- Calendar: If you use calendars, filter by calendar or “All” to see the event.
- Past vs upcoming: Switch the list to Upcoming or Past (if the UI has that filter).
- Public page: For the public event page to show, the event must exist and (if applicable) be published. Share the correct URL from the event’s “View public page” or share link.
Cannot access a feature (locked)
- Plan: Many features (emails, website, dues, merch, analytics) require a paid plan. Upgrade in Subscription.
- Role: Only admins can access Settings, Subscription, and some other areas. See Roles and permissions. Ask an admin to promote you or to perform the action.
- Stripe: Payment-related features (dues, events with payment, merch) require Stripe Connect to be complete.
Payment or payout delayed
- Transaction: Payments usually appear in Transactions within seconds. If not, refresh and check Finance troubleshooting.
- Payout: Payouts follow Stripe’s schedule (e.g. 2 business days or weekly). First payouts can take longer. See Payouts and Finance troubleshooting.
