Calendars let you group events (e.g. “Social events”, “Meetings”) and optionally define a set of calendar members who are default invitees for events on that calendar.

What is a calendar?

A calendar belongs to your organization and has:
  • Name (e.g. “Social events”)
  • Optional description
  • Calendar members: members who are automatically considered invitees for events assigned to this calendar (depending on app behavior)
  • Events: events can be assigned to one calendar

Create a calendar

  1. Go to Events (or Calendars if listed separately) and open calendar settings or the calendar list.
  2. Click Create calendar (or Add calendar).
  3. Enter name and optional description, then save.
  4. Add calendar members so they are the default invitees for events on this calendar (if the app supports it).

Assign events to a calendar

  • When creating or editing an event, select a Calendar from the dropdown. The event is then grouped under that calendar and may automatically include the calendar’s members as invitees (depending on implementation).

iCal feed

  • You can expose an iCal feed per calendar or per org so members can subscribe in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, etc.
Exact behavior (e.g. whether calendar members are auto-invited to new events on that calendar) may vary. Check the event invite step after assigning a calendar to confirm who is invited.
