Common issues with club settings and subscription.

Cannot change plan or upgrade

  • Payment method: Ensure you have a valid payment method on file. Use Update payment method (or the billing portal link) to add or fix a card. Declined cards block upgrades.
  • Already on plan: If you are already on the plan you want, there is nothing to change. If you want a higher plan, use Upgrade and select the new plan.
  • Permissions: Only admins can change the subscription. If you are a member, ask an admin to upgrade or promote you to admin. See Roles and permissions.

Stripe not connected or incomplete

  • Complete onboarding: Open SettingsStripe (or Payments) and click Complete setup or Connect Stripe. Finish all steps Stripe asks for (identity, bank, EIN if required). See Stripe Connect.
  • Re-onboard: If Stripe later asks for more info (e.g. annual verification), use the same Complete setup link and submit the requested details. Status should return to complete.
  • New bank: If you need to change the bank account, add or update it in Stripe (via Rowhouse Add bank account or Stripe Dashboard). Do not disconnect Connect just to change the bank.

Logo upload fails

  • Format: Use a common image format (e.g. JPG, PNG) and a reasonable size (e.g. under 2 MB). Very large or unsupported formats can fail.
  • Browser: Try another browser or disable extensions. Clear cache and try again.
  • Permissions: You must be an admin to upload the club logo. Confirm you are in the correct org (club switcher).
  • Join code: Verify the code in Settings (no extra spaces). Share the exact code. If you changed it, the old code no longer works. See Join code and invite.
  • Invite link: Ensure you copied the full URL. If the link is token-based, it may expire after a time; generate or copy a fresh link. For “cannot join” errors, see Getting started troubleshooting.

I do not see Settings

  • Role: Only admins see Settings and Subscription in the sidebar. If you are a member, you will not see them. Ask an admin to promote you or to make the change you need. See Roles and permissions.
  • Org: Confirm you are in the correct organization (club switcher). Settings are per org.
