Page not showing on the public site
- Publish: Only published pages are visible. In the page editor, set Status to Published and save. See Publishing.
- Correct URL: Confirm you are opening the right URL. It is usually
rowhouse.co/your-org-slug/your-page-slug. Check Slugs and URLs. - Org: Ensure you are in the correct organization (club switcher). Each org has its own pages and slug namespace.
- Cache: Try a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5 or Cmd+Shift+R) or another browser/device. If you just published, wait a minute and try again.
Slug conflict or duplicate slug error
- Uniqueness: Two pages in the same org cannot share the same slug. Rename one page’s slug (e.g.
about→about-us) or delete the other page. See Slugs and URLs. - Reserved: Some slugs may be reserved (e.g.
home,login). Choose a different slug.
Page editor not loading or save fails
- Browser: Use a supported, up-to-date browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Disable extensions that might block scripts (e.g. ad blockers) and try again.
- Network: Save can fail if the connection drops. Copy your content elsewhere, refresh, and try saving again.
- Permissions: You must be an admin to create or edit website pages. If you are a member, you will not see the editor or save may be denied.
- Size: Very large pages (many blocks or huge images) may be slow or time out. Simplify the page or reduce image sizes and try again.
Custom domain not working
- DNS: Verify the CNAME (or A) record at your DNS provider matches exactly what Rowhouse specifies. Propagation can take up to 48 hours. Use a DNS lookup tool to confirm the record.
- SSL: HTTPS may take a few minutes after DNS is correct. If the domain loads over HTTP but not HTTPS, wait and try again or contact support.
- Plan: Custom domain may require a specific plan. See Plan limits and Subscription.
Analytics missing or zero
- Plan: Analytics may be a paid feature. Confirm your plan includes website analytics.
- Published pages: Only traffic to published pages is typically counted. Draft pages are not public.
- Time range: Switch the date range (e.g. last 30 days) to see if there is data in another period.
