Pages can be draft or published. Only published pages are visible on your organization’s public website.

Draft vs published

  • Draft: The page exists and you can edit it, but it is not visible at its URL on the public site. Visiting the URL may show 404 or a not found message.
  • Published: The page is live. Anyone with the URL can view it.

Publish a page

  1. Open the page in the page editor.
  2. In the root (page) properties or the header, find Status or Published.
  3. Set to Published (or click Publish) and Save. The page goes live at its slug URL.

Unpublish (set back to draft)

  • In the same place, set Status to Draft (or Unpublish) and save. The page is no longer visible on the public site; the URL will 404 or show a not-found page. You can edit and publish again later.

View live

  • In the page editor or Pages list, use View live (or Preview) to open the public URL in a new tab. This only works for published pages; for drafts you may see a preview mode or a message that the page is not published.
Publishing is immediate. Double-check content and links before publishing. Unpublish if you need to fix something.
