Draft vs published
- Draft: The page exists and you can edit it, but it is not visible at its URL on the public site. Visiting the URL may show 404 or a not found message.
- Published: The page is live. Anyone with the URL can view it.
Publish a page
- Open the page in the page editor.
- In the root (page) properties or the header, find Status or Published.
- Set to Published (or click Publish) and Save. The page goes live at its slug URL.
Unpublish (set back to draft)
- In the same place, set Status to Draft (or Unpublish) and save. The page is no longer visible on the public site; the URL will 404 or show a not-found page. You can edit and publish again later.
View live
- In the page editor or Pages list, use View live (or Preview) to open the public URL in a new tab. This only works for published pages; for drafts you may see a preview mode or a message that the page is not published.
