Payouts are transfers from Stripe to your connected bank account. After customers pay (dues, events, merch), Stripe holds the funds and then sends them to you on a schedule (e.g. rolling or weekly).

Where to find it

  • FinancePayouts in the sidebar. You see a list of payouts: date, amount, status (pending, paid, failed), and optional Stripe batch ID or link.

Payout schedule

  • Stripe controls the schedule, not Rowhouse. Common patterns: rolling (e.g. 2 business days after the charge) or weekly (e.g. every Wednesday). Check your Stripe Dashboard for your exact schedule and bank account.
  • First payout: New connected accounts may have a longer first payout (e.g. 7–14 days) while Stripe verifies. After that, payouts follow the normal schedule.

Statuses

  • Pending: Payout has been initiated but not yet sent to your bank.
  • Paid (or In transit): Sent to your bank; allow 1–3 business days for the bank to post it.
  • Failed: Stripe could not complete the payout (e.g. invalid bank details). Update your bank account and contact Stripe if needed.

Instant payouts (if enabled)

  • Some accounts can enable instant payouts: funds are sent to your bank within minutes (for a fee). See Instant payouts if your org has this option. Otherwise, standard schedule applies.

Disputes and refunds

  • Disputes and refunds are handled in Stripe. They reduce your balance and may affect upcoming payouts. Rowhouse may show a transaction as refunded; for full details use the Stripe Dashboard.
