Add people to your organization one at a time or in bulk with a CSV upload.

Add one member

  1. Go to Members in the sidebar.
  2. Click Add member (or Add).
  3. Enter:
    • First name and Last name (or Name, depending on the form)
    • Email (recommended so they can receive emails and pay links)
    • Phone (optional; useful for payment and SMS if you use it)
  4. Click Save or Add member. The new member appears in the list.
Required fields may vary. Email is usually required if you plan to send them dues links or event invites by email.

Import members with CSV

For many members at once, use Import on the Members page and upload a CSV file. Rowhouse will map columns to name, email, phone, and optional custom fields. See CSV upload for:
  • Supported column names and format
  • Column mapping and handling duplicates
  • What happens if some rows fail
Use a spreadsheet (Excel or Google Sheets), then export as CSV. Ensure the first row has column headers (e.g. email, first_name, last_name).

Members who join themselves

Members can be created automatically when they:
  • Pay dues via a pay link (they enter name, email, phone at checkout)
  • Pay for an event or RSVP via an event link
  • Join via public form or join link if you’ve set that up. See Public join.
Those members will appear in the list with Joined via payment (or similar) so you can see how they were added.
