Assign dues to one or more members so they owe an amount and can pay via their pay link.
Assign dues
- Go to Finance → Dues and click Assign dues (or New assignment).
- Select members: Choose one or more members (or a group if the UI supports it).
- Amount: Enter the amount (e.g. 50 for $50). Amount is usually in dollars; the app may store in cents internally.
- Description (optional): e.g. “Fall 2025 dues” or “Event fee”.
- Due date (optional): When the dues are due. Used for display and overdue reminders (if enabled).
- Dues group / option (optional): If you use dues groups, select a group and optionally an option (tier). The amount can be set from the option or overridden.
- Submit. Assignments are created; each member gets a unique pay link.
For many members at once, select multiple members in one go or use a group. You can assign the same amount and description to all of them.
After assigning
- Each assignment appears in the Dues list with status unpaid until the member pays. Share the pay link with each member (by email or copy link).
- You can waive or cancel an assignment if needed. You can also edit due date or description on the assignment if the UI allows.
Amount and currency
- Amount is typically in dollars (e.g. 50 = $50). Currency is usually USD unless your org uses another. Processing fees may apply; see Processing fees.
