Create your organization (club) so you can add members, collect dues, and run events.

Create the organization

  1. Sign in to Rowhouse and click Create Club (from the club switcher in the sidebar or the onboarding flow).
  2. Enter your organization name (e.g. “Economics Club”).
  3. Choose a slug: the URL-friendly identifier (e.g. economics-club). Your org’s public URLs will use this (e.g. rowhouse.co/economics-club).
  4. Submit. You’ll be taken to onboarding.
The slug cannot be changed easily later. Use something short, lowercase, and without spaces (e.g. my-club).

Onboarding steps

After creating the org, complete onboarding so you can accept payments and receive payouts:
  1. Stripe Connect: Link your Stripe account so Rowhouse can process payments on your behalf. See Stripe Connect.
  2. Bank details: Add a bank account for payouts. See Bank details.
  3. Profile (if prompted): Add or confirm your name and contact info.
See Onboarding for an overview of the full flow.

First steps after creation

  • Add members: Go to Members and add people manually or import via CSV.
  • Set up dues or events: Use Dues or Events to start collecting payments. See Quickstart.
  • Invite other admins: Add members with the admin role so they can manage the org. See Roles and permissions.
