User preferences apply to your account across all organizations you belong to (unlike Club settings, which are per organization).

Open user preferences

  1. Click your avatar or name at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. In the menu, click User Preferences (or Preferences). You’ll be taken to the preferences page.

What you can change

  • Name and email: Update the name and email associated with your account. Email may require verification.
  • Profile picture: Upload or change your avatar. This appears in the sidebar and may be shown to other admins in the same org.
  • Theme: Switch between light and dark mode. The choice is saved for your browser/device.
Theme is stored in your browser (e.g. localStorage). If you use another device or clear data, you may need to set it again.

Dark mode

  • In the same user menu (avatar at bottom of sidebar), you can toggle Dark mode / Light mode without opening the full preferences page.
  • This affects only the Rowhouse dashboard UI, not your org’s public pages (those use your website/theme settings).
