Member not in group / Group missing in dropdown

I added a member to a group but they do not appear

  • Refresh the group’s member list or the Members page (filter by that group). Sync can be delayed briefly.
  • Confirm you added the correct member (same name/email) and the correct group. Open the group and check the member list.
  • If you added from the Members page, confirm you clicked Save or Add to group after selecting the group.

The group does not appear in the email or event invite dropdown

  • Ensure the group exists and was saved. Go to Groups and confirm it is in the list.
  • Ensure you have permission to send emails or manage events (you must be an admin). Refresh the page and try again.
  • If you have many groups, scroll the dropdown or use search if the UI supports it.

Wrong recipients or invitees

Someone received an email (or event invite) but they are not in the group

  • They might be in another group you selected, or you may have also selected All members or added individuals. Check the recipient list or send summary before sending.
  • If you recently removed them from the group, the send may have run before the removal. Check when the email was sent vs when you edited the group.

Someone in the group did not receive the email (or invite)

  • Confirm they have a valid email address in their member record. Members without email are skipped.
  • Check Campaigns or sent history to see if the email was marked sent or failed for that recipient. See Emails troubleshooting.
  • For event invites: confirm you sent invites after adding the group, and that the member was in the group at the time of send.

Create and delete

I cannot create a group

  • You must be an admin to create or edit groups. See Roles and permissions.
  • If the Create group button is missing, refresh and ensure you are in the correct organization (club switcher).

I deleted a group by mistake

  • Deletion is permanent. Recreate the group with the same name and re-assign members manually. Past emails or event invites that used the old group are unchanged in history.
