When sending an email from Rowhouse, you can choose recipients by group so everyone in that group receives the email without selecting members one by one.
Send to a group
- Go to Emails and create or open a draft, or use Send with a template.
- In the Recipients (or To) section, choose Send to group (or similar).
- Select one or more groups. Rowhouse resolves the group(s) to the list of members who belong to them.
- Optionally add or exclude individual members if the UI allows.
- Send the email. Every member in the selected group(s) receives it (subject to having a valid email address).
Use groups for recurring audiences (e.g. “Board” for leadership updates, “Class of 2026” for class-specific announcements) so you do not have to re-select people each time.
Who receives the email?
- All members currently in the selected group(s) who have an email address.
- Members in multiple selected groups receive the email once (no duplicate sends per member).
- If a member has no email, they are skipped (and may be noted in the send summary if the app shows it).
