# Instant payouts

> Enable faster payouts to your bank (if available)

**Instant payouts** (when available) send funds to your bank **within minutes** instead of waiting for Stripe's standard schedule (e.g. 2 business days or weekly). A fee usually applies per instant payout.

## Is it available?

* Instant payouts depend on your **Stripe account** and **region**. Not all accounts or countries support them. If you see **Instant payouts** in **Settings** (or **Finance** / **Payouts**), you can enable it there. If you do not see it, Stripe may not offer it for your account yet.

## How to enable

1. Go to **Settings** (or **Finance** → **Payouts**) and find **Instant payouts** (or **Faster payouts**).
2. Turn it **on** (toggle or button). You may be asked to confirm the fee (e.g. 1% of the payout amount, minimum \$0.50).
3. After enabling, future eligible payouts can be sent instantly. You may still have the option to use standard payouts for specific transfers; check the UI.

## Fees

* Instant payouts typically have a **per-payout fee** (e.g. 1% of the amount, with a minimum). Standard payouts are usually free. Use instant when you need funds quickly; use standard to avoid the fee when timing is not critical.

## Limits and eligibility

* Stripe may limit instant payout amount or frequency. If an instant payout fails or is not offered for a given transfer, the funds will go out on the next standard payout. Check Stripe Dashboard or support for your account's limits.
