# Finance overview

> Transactions, dues, merch, payouts, and balance

The **Finance** section gives you a single place for money in and out: **transactions** (dues, events, merch), **payouts** to your bank, and (if available) **balance** or **platform cards**.

## Main areas

* **Transactions**: List of payments (dues, events, merch) and sometimes refunds or adjustments. Filter by type, date, member. See [Transactions](/finance/transactions).
* **Dues**: [Assign](/dues/assigning-dues) and track dues, [pay links](/dues/pay-link), and [ledger](/dues/ledger). See [Dues overview](/dues/overview).
* **Merch**: [Merch groups](/merch/overview) and storefront; orders appear in Transactions. See [Merch overview](/merch/overview).
* **Payouts**: When Stripe sends money to your bank. View payout history and status. See [Payouts](/finance/payouts).
* **Platform cards** (if available): Balance cards for members; may be coming soon. See [Balance cards](/finance/balance-cards).
* **Processing fees**: [Fees](/finance/processing-fees) by plan (e.g. free 10%+30c, pro 8%+30c, premium 5%+30c).

## Requirements

* **Stripe Connect**: You must complete [Stripe Connect](/getting-started/stripe-connect) and (for payouts) [bank details](/getting-started/bank-details) to accept payments and receive payouts.
* **Plan**: Most Finance features (dues, merch, transactions, payouts) require a **paid plan**. See [Plan limits](/guides/plan-limits) and [Subscription](/settings/subscription).
